Dr. Paul Gribik has over 40 years of experience working in the domestic and international electricity industry. This includes 25 years of experience working with Independent System Operators (ISOs) on the design and evaluation of their market processes. It also includes working with market participants on evaluating the benefits of participating in such markets and how they should participate.

He has worked with consulting firms that provided design services to various ISOs and that assisted a country in assessing the benefits of moving to a market based on locational marginal pricing.

He served at Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator, now Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), as Director of Financial Transmission Rights and as Senior Director of Market Development and Analysis.

After leaving MISO, he worked for a California market participant where he evaluated changes to market processes that were proposed by the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), suggested modifications to improve their function, and worked with CAISO and other market participants to gain acceptance of the modifications.
